An organization of boaters for boaters,  the South Shore Harbor Marina Association was established in 2013. The SSHMA is focused on facility improvement, accessibility of information, and advocating on behalf of the interests of New Orleans recreational boaters. Join today!

Update: Both The Shore Shop and Lakeshore Landing are currently closed. Lakefront Management Authority is in negotiations to reopen both facilities.

Come and see some of the amenities offered within easy walking distance of the marina at Lakeshore Landing!

 

The Shore Shop is on Lake Pontchartrain next to the South Shore Harbor Marina. It supplies everything a boater needs for a day out on the water including a fuel dock, tackle, refreshments, and snacks. Live bait coming soon! 

 

A weekly menu will be served at Deanie's Icebox located in the Shore Shop

 

Hours:

Monday-Tuesday: 11:00 am- 4:00 pm

Wednesday-Thursday: 11:00 am-5:00 pm

Friday-Saturday-Sunday: 6:00 am- 7:00 pm

Lazy Jack's Bar and Grill next to South Shore Harbor Marina is now open is on Lake Pontchartrain next to the South Shore Harbor Marina! Enjoy food, drinks, and live music with a beautiful lakeside view. Lazy Jack's is family and small pet friendly, so its a great way to relax with everyone on board after a day on the  water.
